A Stay & Play buddies' golf getaway to Geneva National Resort & Club checks all the boxes for ultimate bonding and swing time. Here's our first crack at a list -- and that's just off the top of our heads!
The location. Just over the Wisco-IL border, historic Lake Geneva is just about an hour’s drive from Milwaukee, Madison and Chicago. Just grab your sticks and go.
The great outdoors. Virtual reality has nothing on Geneva National’s glacier-carved vistas, sandhill cranes, and fresh-trimmed buttery bent grass. It's a sensory overload.
The warm-up. Dust off your clubs on the area’s most expansive driving range with shoreline views and rock music -- or book swing time on our soon-to-debut indoor golf simulator.
The sandboxes. Playing out of our new greenside Better Billy Bunkers on the Palmer and Trevino tracks is child’s play with clean, moon-like sand that holds to the bunker face contour.
The challenge. Bet against your buddies on one of Golfweek’s “Best Courses You Can Play” or see if you have what it takes to conquer 2019’s Wisconsin Open tracks.
The variety. From Trevino’s dog-legs and Player’s risk-reward designs to Palmer’s subtly breaking greens, Geneva National's signature courses mix it up for varied play.
The elevations. With tracks that traverse rolling woodlands, some of GN’s tees take you up to 100 feet above lake level and 60 feet above the green below.
The Inns. Walk to your tee time from our six-bedroom group villas with kitchen, spacious rec and living rooms, patio, private putting green, and fitness amenities.
The après golf. Take in views for days on the Clubhouse veranda, while dining at the award-winning Hunt Club Steakhouse, or on your private patio with grill at The Inns.
