Fall Golf. Worth the Road Trip.

Fall Golf. Worth the Road Trip.

In the Midwest, Labor Day marks an unofficial and bittersweet end to summer. But for the region’s golfer, the seasonal shift is a welcome aesthetic change, dousing verdant course landscapes in vibrant color to create inspiring new terrain.

“The autumn colors of our Lake Geneva are unbelievable,” notes Geneva National Resort’s Director of Golf Dave Winget, who adds that the fall fairways and greens are in prime shape -- albeit slightly more challenging with the added obstacle of devious leaf piles concealing your new Titleist pro v1.

At this picturesque point in the year when Geneva National’s three masters-designed courses still are in peak condition, the price of a round of golf sinks below par. Starting September 25, just when the area’s leaves start to turn, prime time golf rates drop 25% from summer to $79 for weekday and $89 for weekend. Greens fees drop again on October 9 to $49 on weekdays and $59 on weekends. Likewise, unlimited golf takes a couple dips on those dates.

With lighter traffic on the fairways, you can easily navigate two courses at your leisure – while saving dollars and daylight. Add to that comfortably cool temperatures sans summer’s humidity – and you know a road trip is in your fall future.

Golf rates are just $39 from October 30 until the snow falls – so book those prized final rounds before winter blankets your gameboard! Pack up your long-sleeved Penguin polo and Arnie cardi, and strap on your sticks for a crisp day on the links.

With Geneva National’s enticing Stay & Play specials, you’ll want to invite the whole swinging crew and make it a weekend to remember! For more information on fall greens fees or to book your tee time, ring up 262.245.7000 and press 1. Fairways & greens ... & golds!
