Relaxed and romantic, Amanda and Michael’s upscale vintage-inspired wedding was a gracious and grand affair we’ll always remember here at Geneva National. The ceremony was stationed by the driving range overlooking Lake Como, and guests were seated in a mélange of charming flea market chairs. Faded pink and ivory floral displays were staked along the aisle in raised antique vases and draped atop the wedding canopy. Beneath a Sperry tent, the reception interior was intricately designed to create luxe living areas, a king’s table for the couple and family, and food stations with rich accents of wood and copper around the periphery of the tent. Custom chalkboard signage, a classic photo booth, retro lawn games and a distressed cabinet laden with visual treasures and treats were among the many original touches on that perfect day.

Leslie & Eric
Set against the backdrop of Lake Como’s autumn-kissed wooded shores, Leslie and Eric were wed outdoors in mid-October on the lush lawns of our Pavilion. Elegant antiqued silver vases with blush pink florals were staked along the aisles and a grand pedestal floral arrangement anchored the back row of seats. While all unique in color and design, the bridesmaid dresses complemented the overall fall color palette of merlot, blush pink and charcoal gray. The reception featured gracious Chivari chairs in chestnut, tall mercury glass candlesticks and vases, wax seal details on table cards, and seasonal cider donuts for favors.

Such a gracious affair, S & K’s blush, ivory and gold wedding began with a ceremony on the Pavilion lawn followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres under the tent. (Beforehand, the bridal party prepped in the Legends Room’s exquisite private bridal suite.) The attention to detail at the Lake Geneva Room reception was something to behold – from sequin blush pink linens and antiqued gold pedestal floral centerpieces to gold beaded chargers, gold Chivari chairs and custom S & K signage and lighting throughout. Guests also were treated to elegant dinner, dessert and coffee stations as well as late-night snacks.

An air of celebration surrounds the holidays, making the season ideal for a sparkling wintery wedding like Kat and Richie’s, which featured an intimate circular ceremony in our Grand Ballroom. With a nod to the season, white aisles were edged by evergreens, red berries and white pillar candles; overhead, the center of the room was anchored by a hanging evergreen floral and dangling tea lights. Bridesmaids and reception tables were bedecked in gold sequins and centerpieces featured ornate gold candelabras adorned with festive red floral pomanders – all of which beautifully complemented the existing Clubhouse Christmas décor. Special add-ons included a candy buffet, specialty hot beverage station and late night snack to wrap up the evening to perfection.
